These as in the new Tahoe PPVs. Much better than the Taurus.
RWD or 4WD, V8 and body on frame. Plus lots of interior space.

We just got a few Silverado SSV’s in at my dealership. My fleet guy was telling me everything that was different from a retail 1500 and it makes me want one really bad.

I wonder if that hint is substantial or not. It’s made by Ranch hand but it looks a lot like a flimsy one you’d buy at Farm and Fleet, except it’s not chrome.
Most of those push bars do more damage than good in an accident.

But the key is... not damage to you.

They’re not bad vehicles. My one issue with them, at least on the 2012s, is that you couldn’t fully disable stabilitrak without pulling the ABS fuse and therefore couldn’t always easily get out of a snow drift. Great buys used, though.

Idk I’ve seen punch bars get mangled in a deer hit that most likely would have just taken out a headlight and bumper, but the bar crunched up into the hood and fender and the headlight still got broken. There is a big different between a real ouch bar and a little brush guard which is what that lookks like.

I’ll grant you that. If you’re gonna do it, do it right.
